Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store - Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues or complaints - Train and supervise employees, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures - Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering merchandise as needed - Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase sales - Assist in creating employee schedules and managing payroll - Ensure store cleanliness and organization - Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail management is preferred - Strong mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory management - Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities - Proven ability to sell products and meet sales targets - Knowledge of retail sales principles and customer service practices - Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of employees - Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist customers who speak different languages - Familiarity with employee orientation processes Please note that this is a general job description for an Assistant Manager position.
