Job Description
Summary:
The ideal candidate works in cooperation with the Operations Manager and Medical Director.
They will have a commitment to high quality care, energy, a passion for helping animals and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Examine, diagnose and formulate treatment plans for patients.
Perform surgeries including soft tissue and dentistry.
Advise clients about general care, medical conditions and treatments.
Other duties as requested by the Medical Director.
Skills and Basic
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the State of California.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
Manages time and tasks appropriately.
Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
Ability to work well with team members.
Be comfortable with most soft tissue surgeries and routine dental procedures.
1-2 years' experience Job Types:
