The Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing the overall operations in the company including store level, corporate level and cross functional teams.
The Operation Specialist is also serving as a proficient Problem Solver and Data analyst to strategically formulate, implement and drive the success of the operations team.
This role involves adept management of administrative functions, conducting comprehensive financial analysis within sales reports, developing marketing strategies, analyzing demand patterns to help with inventory control, and assessing overall financial health across diverse operational facets.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assisting the operation management team for the communication between stores and corporate office regarding construction, inventory, and store operational issues Responsible for the administration functions of the operations department as required to maintain company standards and financial results Maintain and upkeep of operational reports, sales ledgers, store communications, etc.
Provide resources and direction to ensure that company policies (including loss prevention procedures), employment policies, and human resources policies are enforced Analyze and interpret sales data to identify trends and provide business insights into sales performance and market dynamics Develop a thorough analysis of financial documentation to track expenditures, identify cost trends, and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints Utilize financial models to assess the profitability of various products, implementing data driven decisions on promotions strategies and product projects Cross department communication and coordination regarding operation demand Update, control and manage SAP system Order initial fixtures of new stores through SAP Support the stores regarding the company policies & procedures and quickly provide solution for store operation issues to District Managers or Regional Manager Coordinate the operations meetings and prepare the meeting minutes Any other assigned task from supervisor or management team
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required Master's Degree preferred
Experience:
Comparable multi-unit management experience preferred Prior experience in the retail industry preferred Operations/District management experience preferred Consultative sales experience preferred Physical
Qualifications:
Ability to move about in retail store floors and rooms, review, revise, and create retail paperwork, and communicate with employees and customers Must be able to travel to different store locations across the U.
S.
up to 25% of the time Ability to access and operate the company computer system to prepare documents, enter data, and read reports Ability to work a varied schedule as required to support the needs of the business, including frequent extended workdays, weekends, and holidays Job Type:
