Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
4-8 years of progressive work experience, preferably in a process manufacturing environment
In depth knowledge of cost accounting theory and methodology and application
Demonstrated ability to understand and work within a standard cost environment
Demonstrated analytical skills in a manufacturing environment
Model building utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain standard cost system, manage reporting of actual costs vs. standards
Update product costs and customer price lists
Assist in managing cost accounting policies and providing analyses
Provide key operational measures reports
Assist in establishing cost standards for labor, materials and overhead for all products
Establish efficient data collection methodologyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
